darn it i let the smoke out ! - 06.12.2010, 04:08 PM

I was ttrying my new planethobby anaconda esc out today my sc ran fine for 10min and the poof ! the evil smoke came outof the esc ? why ? before this happend the motor temp was 45c and esc 28c so the esc couden't have working to hard !

it was the motor that failed ! But how ?

I tried to connect another esc and it fried instANTLY TO Grrrr !

Sounds like a dead short in the windings, maybe some insulation got worn off or melted somewhere along the wire inside the can..
