I personally thought the Xbox prank was funny.

It would be funny if they did it, and then actually had an xbox somewhere else to give after. To do that, then tell him he's too poor to have an xbox is a grade A D-move

I would agree with this. I was wating for them to give him a xbox. I did not hear to to poor comment. I also think his parents did the right thing by giving him cloths instead of a xbox.

Come here son, I'm going to teach you how fun it is to laugh at other people's misfortune. I'm going to show you it's fun to ridicule them and make them feel small, kick 'em when they're down. And you'll learn that it's particularly funny when it's your own children you're doing it to.

What a great lesson that kid just learned. Wait! What was the lesson exactly? Not sure what was the point of all this. At least the kid was happy for a couple seconds, while he was unwrapping the box. I just hope he has the strength and determination to stay in school and make a good future for himself, so he can move out and break free of those heartless idiots he has for a family.

No brain, no headaches.

The tard dog was really funny. The kid with the faux xbox was great. Good stuff. My parents used to ridicule me quite a bit, and give me a hard time when I did something stupid. They also laughed at me when I fell down, and generally gave me a hard time. I still love them, but I get my own back now, as they are older and IO am much fast with my comebacks and witty observations. The way they treated me when I was young kept me on my toes, made me sharp, mentally. Worth it if you ask me, last thing you want to be is a dumbass who is never challenged. At least my parents would praise me when I got something right, and I always knew they were paying attention when they were poking fun at me.

I wished I had taken the time to elaborate in earlier posts but my growing up experience was much the same as yours James. Loving Parents who might of did things a bit different than the norm but they were def on the right track weither I knew it or not. I have no regrets.

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

I grew up in a really large extended family, and many of my cousins who were quite a bit older, and all of them talked a bunch of shiz. They would always give my brother and I a lot of crap, and we got really good at dishing it back too, so I know what you mean Linc and Bondo. My mom and my aunts and uncles could lay it down good too.

OTOH, I think what they did to the kid went over the top and just got mean. Its a bit of a fine line, but you don't want to beat down a kid and make him feel bad for just who he is. Esp when its your moms laughing at you. There's a point when it goes from sharp edged humor to tearing someone down to feel like the piece of crap you are. That seemed the later. Hey, maybe if they didn't tear each quite so harshly, they wouldn't be such losers they can't even afford an xbox.

Hard to explain, and its a kinda subjective, but like I said, it would have been funny to me if he did get the xbox or something in the end.

This prank is funnier IMO:

The dog in the vid has rabies, I'm sure of it.
