General Silicone Storm CL1 Brushless conversion is done! - 08.03.2010, 10:05 PM

This is what I started with, General Silicon Storm CL-1 Advanced Nitro (booo) chassis

And this what I accomplished today (with the help of Ben).......Used a piece of 2in angle aluminum hit it with a bandsaw and the drill press and this is what we have......Oh and a RCMonster battery tray that is for a losi...Thank you Ben!

(Ben has a couple more pics) Ben post the pics!

its a good start, i think you will have problems with your motor mount bending though, i have done alot of geto motor mounts out of L channel and most on them that were under 1/8 failed pretty quickly

I would also be concerned about the mount. If it was 3/16" or 1/4" I personally would not worry. ( it looks like 1/8" to me ) Just watch it carefully

We know its not a long term solution. it was simply to see the truck move under its own power
