LOBO, I beleive it was from Sears. Took 8AA batteries, NiCads, and had a charge port built into the car so you plugged the wall charger directly into the car. Had a blast with it and it seemed fast, of course I was about 7 so anything over 5MPH was fast. Got thrown away when the gears in the transmission stripped as there was no way to take it apart.

I used to have Yonezawa/Monogram's Land Dash(Lightning/ Wave Hunter), Nikko's Dictator, Super Sprint. Got a Tamiya Super Saber, but returned it to the shop after a few days of owning it( now I feel sorry that I did). I've owned several Tyco cars, too. Pretty fast for what they were during those days....sigh...

A small, blue buggy named the "Chipmunk" from Nikko back in 1988. I remember going into Kmart every weekend and eyeing that box until Christmas finally came.

God, I wasn't I hadn't thrown that thing away after all these years.

I had a few cars when i was little including an air powered car (it had a pump and an air tank which pushed a piston like a steam train). But the one that got me enthused the most about rc was the JET HOPPER. Black one. At the time my brother had a 'Wild Thing'.

Nikko Nightrage MT. MOA, 4WD, w/ twin 280 motors. Circa 1990 I think.

Edit: Looked just like this one (called THOR), but had red wheels.

i had that same car! it was my 2nd one. my first one was a tyco tantrum? the front wheels spun on a solid axle. (think of the front axle/tires as a really slow propeller)

i had those when i was 4 or 5 and they were my favorite toys at the time. i remember anxiously waiting for those little 6v batteries to charge.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.
