Muggy (and a short introduction) - 10.28.2010, 02:46 PM

Hello,

I am new here and will introduce myself shortly.
I am Vincent and I live in Holland (neighbour of René (Serum))

In the the summer I'm mostly busy with rc boats like a HPR135.
This is a short video http://vimeo.com/15712169 of my boat.

My first serious car was a Traxxas e-maxx witch I rebuild with a lot of alu (g-maxx and integy)

At this moment I'm building a Losi Muggy.
Set up will be:
Neu 1515 2.5d or Lehner 2240/10 with a mgm compro 140amp esc on 6s lipo.
Motormount and battery tray kit from the shop are on their way to Holland.
The body is from Simbio the wheels from Imex and the rear wing is from Proline.
I changed all the bearings, put in the Losi hd diff cups and changed the diff oil.

and now some pictures
original:

and pimped:

Greetz Vincent

Welcome aboard! Now get Serum back on here regularly...

Thats a really nice Muggy! I've been looking at the Imex tires in the 40series for a while. Those look great!

Nice boat as well! I've seen that video posted on offshoreelectrics.com

Welcome to the Muggy club! Love those tires - been considering them myslef, and now that I've seen them on yours, gonna order a set.

Consider adding a chassis brace to your muggy - helps with the chassis flex front to back.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

The tires are the Imex 38 all t series on an Axial 8 spoke oversize wheel.

Paint is from Tamiya, metallic black and pearl white.

Do you have an example of such a brace?
