Was there any deals on a MMP?

the brakes of my old MM stopped working, and my MMMv2 is dead.

Hope to replace MM w/ MMP

There are some MM's still up (just checked), but IIRC, you can send in your MM and upgrade to a MMPro. I think it was $70 or something like that.

We never had the MMP on the sale, just the MM. And Brian is correct, you can always send in your MM for an upgrade to a MMP for $80 + $5 return shipping.

FYI, the 1518 is sold out, we were unable to fulfill about 40 orders. We will be contacting people today and tomorrow. If you paid by credit card, we did not charge you, if you ordered by PayPal, we will be refunding the amount within 48 hours. We still have 1520's, and you will get the option to switch your order from the 1518 to another motor if you choose.

Start a new thread WANTED: Neu 1717 motor and see who bites. I have already had two people asking me if I wanted their orders, because they changed their minds about the porject they were getting them for. So there are motors out there for the taking. Some ordered these motors just because of the price not realizing how big they really are or what they were going to use them in. Don't give up. No I am not selling my order, or the extra 1717 motors I just picked up through resale posts. I have six SuperMaxx trucks & our boys each have one, and we plan to use them on one or two of our projects. Good luck with that. CC just dumpped a ton of these motors out there and I would be wiling to bet that most of them will not get used by the original owners. I guess Xmas came early for CC. Way to go CC. Now you have $$$$ for the next phase of your on going projects for 2011. NICE!!!!

SUPERMAXX YOUR LIFE.

Castle Creations Service - 12.01.2010, 09:41 PM

I've just got to brag about their service. I sent a V2 ESC back because it went up in flames on Saturday. No receipt because I bought the ESC from RC-Monster several moons ago. I was expecting to pay $70 for repairs. It's on it's way back to me fixed or replaced free of charge.

Thank You Castle Creations !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Castle Creations!!! My 1518, one of the lucky 40 it seems :-)

Can't wait to pick up a Mamba XL HV and plug this bad boy in!

If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

Why? XL is rather expensive, like double the cost, the Mamba Monster will handle that motor more than fine! About the only thing you get with the XL, since that motor has a 6S limitation, is the data logging.

8s is perfect for the 1518 (1800kv x 29.6v = 53,280rpm without a load) IMHO. The datalogging and 5amp BEC should do my buggy right as well :-)
