Supermaxx shocks - 03.05.2006, 09:31 AM

Hi

Does anyone have any experience with only 4 Supermaxx shocks on your E-maxx? How does they work compared to the 8 original shocks?

I can see both pros and cons against upgrading to 4 or 8 Supermaxx shocks.

Pros for 4 shocks.
Cheaper
Less weight

Cons on 4 shocks.
Maybe performance???

Hope anyone with experience on these or other shocks can help.

Regards
Jesper

i would recommend the proline powerstrokes over the ue. you can run 4 and it need be (for what ever, jumping a house, ect.), you can put the bypass' on there. i had them and they are they best shock i have ever seen. the quality is unsurpased.

powerstrokes are obselete squee, so that makes them less interesting.

The choice for 4 or 8 depends on the total weight of your truck.

4 ue shocks are superiour to 8 stock shocks.

He mean's since they are discontinued, they aren't as atractive as their used to be. Just like the proline servo saver.

You might be able to get a set on ebay. But if your not going to be jumping your house, get the ue racer x shock's. They are the best.

Hi

Thanks for your answers. I actually wanted to buy the Powerstrokes, but as you say they are discontinued, so I am now going for other brands.

LIke serum say the 4 ue are much better than the 8 stockers. I use four and eight. Both are great. If you get the 4 and are not sure if you like the performance you can get 4 more to go on. That is the thing i like.

Peace!

Powerstrokes are still available to buy on Proline's website. Don't appear to be discontinued?

Please tell me that's not smoke I see!
