The packs are more typical of a plane/heli size (3S 2200mah) but the results should still be a good indicator of performance, and the performance should scale up to the larger 4-6S packs we use for 1/8. Looks like the Gens Ace performed as well as the ThunderPower. Pretty impressive given that the Gens Ace are rated for 25C and the TP are rated for 45C. The Blue Lipo seemed to be the lowest performer and had highest temps, quite a bit higher than the other three.
I have been interested in the Gens Ace packs and will probably try some out when it's time to buy new packs.
Looks pretty good, I 've heard a bit about these and looked at their site. I was surpirzed to see there relatively low rating, esp as I only try to buy minimum 150C rated batteries because they are obviously the best for my demanding top-shelf performance systems. ;)
If you take a 'reading' half way through the discharge, then the TP & Ace lipos both hold 3.5v per cell @ 18.2C, which is pretty impressive for such ickle 2.2Ah 25c & 45c lipos, but Ace lipo is obviously the more impressive, for obvious reasons I'd hope.
