soldering this style bullet - how? - 01.24.2011, 12:07 PM

Hi i got this bullet connector. how can i solder the wires in?

It has 'stepped' bit. i presume i feed the lead wire to that and hold the wires in that bullet connector?

Pretty much. Tin the wire and the connector first though. Then just the connector and wire together and let them flow together.

A mini propane torch works great for these.

I drilled some holes in a piece of 2x4 to hold them and went from there.
