It isn't too long, you need to use special inserts on either side where the bearings go in order to space out the front and rear upright parts further; the Slipperential is somewhat 'shorter' than a regular 1/8 centerdiff.
65tooth spur gear is massive though, you would normally only use such a gear on a transmission with an 18-24tooth pinion- with a CD, gears in the 40-50tooth range as what you should be using really with 9-16tooth pinions at most.

I suggest contacting Mike about the required custom spacers- the unit is designed to be universal but it wont necessarily be as simple as drop-in & go..
EDIT: Are you sure you need mod0.8 ( 32pitch ) pinions- the listed 46t & 50t spurs for the Slipperential are MOD1.0, so you need MOD1.0 pinions to match.
