RC8 centert diff/Kyosho plastic spur/bearing size? - 09.27.2011, 02:28 PM

Hello my friends,

I know you guys will have the answer

I had purchased some of the Kyosho plastic spurs some time ago. I am just getting to installing one and I notice the bearing much to wide... I am assuming I need to change the bearing size and som shims to protect the plastic spur from the pin?

Any input on what you guys are using in high powered BL apllications is appreciated!

Heath

Theres a much easier solution! I know you already have the gears but why not just do it right, associated makes plastic gears for their 1/8 scale vehicles that are a direct fit.

Plastic spurs for the RC8 series are pretty cheap and work very well. I run them on my RC8Be and RC8Te and they hold up great. A year ago I bought 4 of them for each car and still on the first one in both of them.
