With the discussion on who the car is for and the tone it reads like a bunch of elitists, with the many Apple haters I'll say the funny part is that it's the same exact conversation Apple Zealots have about their beliefs.
I guess I'm just an average user then since I'm buying it. Oddly many of the average users that have stated they are buying it are like me with custom fabricated models, many brushless in the stable from 1/5-1/16, or they even own this site. Those average users :)

I like this car. It's got a lot of awesome ideas and I look forward to the future of RC. It will be AWESOME when all of castles ESC are able to be adjusted on a transmitters big color touch screen!

Transmitters have had big color touchscreens for years but they were 1K plus Futabas like the 14MZ, others have hit the market but this is one of the first "low cost" options.

I'm sorry, I should have specified land use transmitters.... I had a chance to play with the 14MZ at the last years iHobby show, that thing is too cool! Looks like Futaba moved on to the 18MZ now.

That's because they dropped it on the ground and the rear happened to hit first. And that's just when the camera clicked.

The third vehicle down in the pic he posted is an xo-1 doing a wheelie. His original post had you quoted as saying you don't think it will wheelie.
He meant, "Oh yeah Lincpimp you elitist wiesenheimer, it can too wheelie as evidenced by this photographic proof". But he only said, "see the xo-1".
I used the clues right here in this thread and my amazing powers of deductive reasoning to arrive at this conclusion.
If there is anything else you would like explained, feel free to ask

Patrick, Do you know if the telemetry will be able to be adapted to other manufacturers? Like for instance Losi? I want to get the radio and esc for mine, but it'd be a waste, If i can't use the cool stuff
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

From personal experience with our pre-production XO-1 test cars:
The tires are specially made for the XO-1 -- they are not off-the-shelf 8th scale tires. They are belted (so they don't balloon at high RPM,) and they are very sticky.
You have to be gentle with the throttle -- it has so much torque it will break all four tires loose and then "skate" all over the place. But it's pretty stable at high speed.

I don't know for sure, but I believe Traxxas will make the radio/ESC available for separate purchase. Really a question for Traxxas.

Anything else you can tell us about the handling? I've pretty well talked myself out of buying one but if the downforce makes a noticeable improvement in handling over a 1/8th scale Buggy a roller with a MMM combo would be cool. Not just high speed stability but I'm really interested in how it corners, everything I've got is stupid fast in a straight line but handles like it's drunk
All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

Well, to be honest I'm not really a good enough driver to comment much...
It definitely corners better at speed (like an F1 car) but at high speed the turns are WIDE.

Haha I hear that, I pretty much point and shoot. My trucks are all muscle cars, untouchable down the straights but I can't drive worth a hoot. I guess I'm not terrible, but certainly nothing to brag about!
That's cool, my 3.3 4-Tec took wide turns as well but for a completely different reason Not to keep bitching over and over again but man that limiter is killing me, if it weren't for that I'd ditch my Hyper 7 TQ (which I run as an onroader) and everything else I don't use much and order one when my tax return comes in
