Way too much RL in the last few weeks. Still haven't built the second diff with the different sanded down size but I will post back with those results.

CAD stuff. Left side TVP is all but complete. Did some 1:1 test prints and had to make adjustments as some things weren't in the right place when I checked the print against actual parts. Motor mount drawing is complete. Flat bulkhead plate for the rear is complete. Center diff plate, battery tray plate and right side TVP partially done.

On a side note I've bought a Thunder Tiger MT4 G3 to have a play with. Looks like a nice modern, durable MT with not much modding required. Funnily enough the wheelbase is in between and XL and standard Flux. I will still be completing this build though.

Oh oh, I think that the Savage will see less and less use now that you have the MT4. I know it has been the case for me. Since I bought the MT4 all that I have done with the Flux is fix all that I broke last time out and left it on the shelf. Love the MT4.

Ohh that sucks. I dont think the VTR would fit though. Its not wide enough. Do you think foam can be cut?

I think they can be cut to size, but it will be a pain in the ass....

And I got a mail from Proline...

Hi!

Unfortunately we only can offer the white foams at this time as the VTR foams will not work. We are working with our closed cell foam vendor to try and come up with the size needed for 3.8 tires but it is still a ways off from becoming reality at this time.

Sorry we couldn't be of more help.

Thank you,

Aaron
Pro-Line Racing

So I'm going to order the stock white foams...
