Yup, Another muggy conversion.

I don't remember exactly, but going through my purchase history it looks like it should be Lunsford part # LNS1538. I sheared off a stock RPM one on my first run, very cheap metal and RPM wouldn't do anything as far as the warranty.

Shock towers + new body + diff braces
or a onboard camera
or rpm arms all around and the lunsford titanium turnbuckles...

Well i jumped the gun and bought a mini camera for onboard video. Not hoping for 1080p but if its 480 ill be happy. Paid 1usd + shipping (7 bucks) so well see wha the quality is like. Will report back when i get it/test it..

What's wrong with the stock shock towers and diff setup?

Those little onboard cameras are really cool, especially if you set it up for FPV.

Well in some -4*c running i flipped the truck and snapped all 4 body post mounts and the mounting sockets for them, on the towers. Hence F&R towers.. The diff bulks were my fault hit a rock which snapped the arm and apparently broke the bulk heads.

Got a little work done on the truck today.. Got new diff braces and my foams for my torn badland ones.. So a rather simple idea of tearing down the front end to replace the L&R braces turned into a chrome plated, carbon fiber lay down servo mount.. not sure if you can tell, but the diff braces, diff plate, and bell crank brace are all chrome plated.. Done with krylon chrome paint, dries fast!










All cleaned up and ready to go. I opted to use some epoxy steal and glued my old braces together, instead of using the new ones i just bought. I packed tons of epoxy into the plastic so it should stiffen things up some. If not, i have NIP part.

It looks good from what i can tell.

Had to bore out some wheel hexs to the 8mm stubs that the muggy had, Came out alright my rulux 17mm half ups with badlands on inner bead mounted up to them.

Sweet conversion, well done. I don't know what epoxy you used on your bulks, but I've never had any repairs hold up for more than about a minute. Losi parts are a pain when its cold. I broke a few parts on my Mini8 and I wasn't being hard on it either. Since its down I'm going to boil some of the parts to increase flex, hopefully it'll hold up better with this cold.

I've been curious on this,
as i have a set of 23mm and 17's from E-revo.

I have 17's on mine now but i would like to run either talon's or my response pro's as i have nothing for them to go to...

Yea, there plastics seem to hate cold weather... More so then most. Im using some hobbyking 2 part epoxy, works really good actually and is sooo cheap. Will warn you, it really stinks and the odor isnt enjoyable. Im hoping the 17mm hold up, there wasn't a terrible amount of meat left when the milling was done... Oh well we shall see.
