Merry christmas - 01.04.2012, 04:12 PM

Well let me see. With having to work and live overseas year round we do not get to see or spend holiday time with any of our extended family. So we poured ourselves into making Christmas a memorable time for our kids. We took everybody to midnight mass in a cathedral in downtown Prague that we knew was really old, but had no idea just how old it really was. St Thomas was built in 1200AD, an is absolutely beautiful inside. It was so cold that we could see our breath during the mass.

As for my presents well I asked for nothing material. I requested that the kids put their differences aside and be kind to one another throughout the holiday season, which brought peace to our household for a while. Who could ask for more. I still have R/C parts coming in from recent orders and and second hand purchases and have managed to collect quite a bit of rare stuff for our collection. I received enough HCR titanium parts to build just about an entire SuperMaxx. Plus I stumbled upon a slew of UE parts that will provide a great deal of comfort in spares for my trucks for years to come, including UE 8-spyder diffs, UE CVD's, UE Servo Saver parts, UE racer-X and EXT steering knuckles, HB hardend diff gear sets, along with a bunch of ceramic bearings, and CVD rubber boots. So I took care of my own stuff this year, and gave the wife an I-Pad 2, which made her smile.

SUPERMAXX YOUR LIFE.

I just think the Dres are overpriced, but you pay for cool factor. I'm sure you'll love them

The drivers are the same for the past few decades. If you want something cheaper, look into the old school Koss. Radio shack carry's the Koss brand too. That Beats crap is just that. I got a headache listing too it after 10 minutes or so, when HP had them for demo at work. The Beats audio in the computers are very good, just the headphones suck.
Since the subject of headphones came up, how are Skullcandy headphones? My kid bought a set of the cheapest ones they have and she said they sound way better than the stock ipod phones....but thats probably isnt saying much. I know Skullcandy makes several different headphones in several price ranges, just wondering if the sound quality is good. I have never heard of them before she bought them

Built Ford tough, with Chevy stuff.

I haven't owned or listened to any myself, but every one of my friends that has owned a pair has loved them. They were very popular in my high school.

When I bought my previous phone, which was a "music phone" they included a set of some very cool scullcandy headphones with the first some number of phones they sold. They looked good, fit ok, and sounded like the koss porta-pro with a little less bass. I wouldn't think they gave away their best models....
