BK Wanderer 7XL Question - 03.27.2006, 01:43 PM

Hi there. How many cells is the BK Wanderer 7XL capable of?

I'm assuming 18, the same as the Feigao 7Xl?

It can handle 18 cells yes. It gets warm on 18 though. Even kind of hot for me. It would depend alot on driving still. I think 16 is better suited. JMO

Peace!

The wanderer and the Feigao are basicly the same motors, only the Wanderers come with 5.5 plugs mounted and uses better bearings.

On 18cells, the 7XL is a tad too hot imo. Doable in the winter, but in the summer a 9XL would be a better choice for 18 cells.

I had great luck with the 9xl on 18 cells. It was my favorite motor until I got a lehner 1950.
