Are you bashing hard enough to snap aluminum servo horns? Are you turning 22 tooth mod 1.5 pinions that are the size of a servo? I am

I'm also buttoning up the "pif maxx". Check it out! http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...d=1#post419839

That is a huge pinion for sure. How the heck did you snap that horn? Sadly, not much bashing for me as my rc's are in storage right now as I am going through a divorce

Damn, that is hugest pinion I've seen today. I bet you have huger ones......

I looked in my motor drawer and got depressed the other day. I don't have time to play with RC's right now. The only brushless motor that gets some action right now, is the one on my bike. BTW, that sucker went 46mph yesterday.

I run no servo saver on my savage, and a jr8611a servo. It'll strip the aluminum horns with the plastic inserts. The horn pictured was cast for a jr servo and it snapped, the servo just keeps on taking a beating. Direct drive and a beefy servo make me happy

Damn! I keep thinking about 2 hub motors on a manual wheelchair. My current top speed is 8.5mph. 46mph sounds like more fun

I'm feeling my way into helicopters...not going too well, but I'm stubborn.

Trying to urge myself out of helicopters, but got myself into computers, more and more...
Been tinkering with our home surveillance rig, trying to get it to work, and I think I may have just hit it.

Other than that, not much RC, though, this Friday I am going to do a full out RC bash with a few friends of mine.

Also getting more and more into planes, as they seem to be much more wallet-friendly..
Especially considering I'm trying to regain the ~$760 I've spent on upgrading my computer, component by component...

I haven't done much with R/C lately either. By the time I finally do drive them, my lipos will be too old. I too mess with helis more than I do with the trucks. I only have a Blade MCX2 and a 120sr, and the 120sr is giving me all kinds of hard times. I guess I should just stick to a dual rotor setup like the MCX2, just bigger so I can use it outside.

Other than that, I've been busy with computer stuff too. Up until about a year ago, my most powerful setup was a single-core CPU, 1GB ram, dual WD 35GB Raptors in RAID0, and AGP card. Since then, I've been concentrating on getting all multi-core boxes and getting rid of all the old stuff.
