I think for now its going to be the silver chassis. In person the shades of purple are just too far off for my liking and I think the purple chassis will be better suited for another build. That means one more HCR build is in the works and I have already started buying the few parts I will need to complete that one.

Here is some more pics. Got the rear suspension assembled and installed chassis braces and skids installed also.

Whats better than one set of purple arms?? 2 sets of purple arms
The set I just got is darker, matches the purple chassis a lot better. Only thing is, I have started really liking the silver chassis and have already started buying parts for a build up with the purple chassis and all silver suspension. It will be a long weekend of assembling and disassembling I guess.

Hard to tell a difference in the picture, but it is a big difference in the arms.

Ok, got the new arms mounted up. Here are pics compared to the old ones. Hopefully you can tell a difference.

50 shades of Purple

The sado-masochistic journey of a man obsessed with r/c, to the point that he puts himself and his wallet in harms way over and over again just to get that perfect part, and no matter how much he hurts himself or how big his debt gets, this sick s.o.b. always walks away smiling...

I can't believe you found those arm extenders, those are super rare, but you know that!

Yea, I have a soft spot for those I guess. I have bought almost every set I have seen. Im thinking about taking the blue ones and taking the anodizing off to make them natural titanium colored and putting them on my Purple arms to make the emaxx wider.

Well I finally got to do a little work today to the truck.
I started with these

and ended up with these

I have never seen natural colored TI extenders before, and these polished ones look insane out in the sun light. Of course the sun went behind the clouds as I got ready to take pics, so I will get some soon outside.

HAHA, thats part of the reason why I had to do the extenders, so I could use my UE shafts on the truck. So far I have used them on all of my really nice trucks because they are my favorites. Maybe I will get them and the knuckles mounted up tomorrow.
