Thanks for the comments guys. This won't be the last of the purple/black scheme you see from me.

Love the bug body as well!! Of course Black is one of my favorites if you could not tell already....haha Looking good man!

You should do a all Black and Purple build, now that would be stellar!

Beautiful! Nice work man.

I have to ask though, where you got the Progressive Suspension EDC2's?

I have been wanting some of these for a long time now...I am incredibly envious of them

Thanks Wheelman.

I got the Progressives off of Ebay a while back. They were my second set. I had a set in blue before this and sold them once I found the silvers. Basically had to give them away I feel at $60 for the set.

oh my! I would sure think they're worth more than that!

I am on the hunt for a set, so if you catch word of any, or see any, could you give me a heads up?

Are you aware of any rebuild kits that can be purchased for the EDC2's?

Sorry for the late reply wheelman, I missed your post. I have seen a few rebuild kits on ebay from time to time, but I don't know where to find them other than there. I do however know where a set is for sale at now. The asking price is $200, PM me if you would like the guys contact info.

Well I sat down and assembled a full FLM emaxx trans this weekend only to find out that a FLM full trans case wont fit onto a HCR chassis. The FLM case is obviously bigger than a stock case (Me and FLM don't mix well it seems :() So Now I'm back to square one on the final piece really to this build. Possibilities now include a center diff, or a custom trans case that I have been thinking about and planning for a while now. I wasn;t ready to really do either option until later builds, but I'm not filing down my chassis or case, so I'm not left with many options here.

I did pick up a set of HCR silver wheels for the truck (or just for my collection) I'm not completely sold on these none HCR black wheels and the bug body on this truck. Let me know what yall like better for the wheels. (Oh yea, I didn't even realize these were HCR wheels until a friend told me they were, I asked if he was sure and he said that he has owned brand new sets in green and purple in the HCR packaging)
