I like the heli camera work.

At the end he says he plans to run 12s on each motor, and then says "24s total".

It will still be a 12s setup, just running 2 12s setups in parallel. He will have 24 cells total, but not in series.

Sounds like his gear mesh is too loose, or maybe the mgm escs are not very smooth at lower throttle.

Maybe it is just the camera enagles, but that motor mount looks a bit thin for my tastes... Needs side braces. Those are heavy motors, I would not use an endbell mount unless I planned to use a clamp style mount on the other end of the can.

My old dual motor 5b setup (never got muh past the inital planning stage on that one) had boat mounts for the 2 neu 1521 motors. They were heavy. And the 2028 is even heavier.

Motor mount looks to have been milled with webbing to reinforce against twisty forces. Very torquey indeed, and for the power-crazed.. (aren't we all) something I think we all want to see maxed out on 24s.

However, I think with that much power given the drivetrain holds up all you have is a large beast with the driving characteristics of a hovercraft. Where do you use it?

I'd almost like to see it geared down lower (or just run on 6s with more milly amps) with some MT wheels and lifted for the ultimate basher which can pull weeds, mow the lawn and such.

Didn't really seem to be any more "crazy" than the single motor 12s version we've seen previously...so I guess I'm not really that impressed with its performance.

But I definitely give props to the guy(s) for building it, as it takes a fair amount of work to do such a project, successfully.

All in all, pretty cool. Although, a true 24s powered kit would be the real impressive accomplishment.

I'm actually more interested in what he used for his areal filming. The truck is nice but it's a lot of time and money spent in a truck that is ridiculously over powered and if I was the one playing with it, I'd be bored doing donuts and shredding tires after 5 minutes. Yes I'm being negative.

Looks like a quadcopter with a GoPro or similar cam on it. You can see the shadow of the props and camera boom in the first shot of the video.
