E-slayer build...

So Having found the pics brought back fond memories of bashing this truck, so I decided to make another.

Dug thru the spares and found a 3.3 revo chassis and a decent selection of small parts. Ordered the needed parts off ebay, when they show up I will take a group photo!

Thinking I will run a sidewinder 8th system (for 150 bucks it seems like a no brainer...) on 4 or 5s. I do have a few oddball motors that I may try...

Going to lock a nitro revo trans in 2nd gear, and make my own motor mount. I need to make one for the other revo based project anyway.

I wish I had the cash flow OR time here in college.

Not to worry scholarbuns, I shall make this a build to remember. Or at least a build to forget.

Might even go outrunner.... who knows!

(just like we did to Bondo in that Super 8 in Bakersfield! )

Thats my boys going at it as always.. I'll try to make a decipherable post as im mostly sober.

Bought the hydraulic brakes and x2 and some other stuff for the 1/5, still havent built it


got a polishing machine and took the emaxx all apart and polished most of it. wish I had left it alone im to lazy to put it back together


bought a 4x4 because in my advancing age I can see the bolts better to wrench on

A sober post from jayjay!!! Truck looks good dude, I like the stance.

I feel your pain on the emaxx reassembly. I am rebuilding my workshop and had to move all of my half finished rc projects. The 6x6 Maxx is one of them, and only really lacks a modded set of bulks to tie it together. Also found the 6x6 lst, that needs electronics which I need to figure out. Lots of fun to be had and even more money to be spent!!!
