8S or more esc's that are waterproof? - 12.21.2014, 02:49 PM

Are there any 8S or better rated ESCs that are waterproof?

Got a redcat Rampage MT here that I am thinking of converting to brushless, but would want it to be waterproof.

Just not sure if any of the waterproof 6S max escs can be used in the vehicle at all successfully. Not needing wheelie pulling power here, was happy with the power performance of a 1/5 converted savage on 4S with a 1520 1600kv motor and it worked well enough to give some idea.

I use a mmm on 6s with a 1717 and it's plenty enough for the car.

He was talking about a redcat rampage with a 1717. The original poster was talking about a redcat rampage.

I don't know what the second posters pic of a 5ive has to do with any thing.

Ah, I thought he was responding on the picture?
Maybe the picture should show that the ESC he is using ( MGM? ) can handle some water?

got the bug again to do this conversion.

Anyone know how much the Rampage MT weighs as a roller with no tires (I don't use the stock tires)?

Also, same question but with the Kershaw designs conversion.

I wonder if the new Mamba XL X on 6S could do the job if the weight is right.
