Quitting rc.... Maybe? - 05.09.2006, 01:33 PM

I might be quitting rc. Parents took away internet (im in school now). I realized i enjoyed sellign/buying rc cars more than actually playing with them. My cars see very little action lately. Parents are trying ti kill my hobby :(. ITheres now way to order teh parts i need to fix my car. Myabe i shoudl just quit (my .23rb revo motor has broken crank).

Ps. HEY MIKE! i like the rc-monster thong!

Your public Library should have internet access, and if your going to school...hmmmm, library perfect excuse if you need one! Stay with it, other wise you'll miss it!

You'll regret it in a few week's if not month's. Specially with the summer coming, the nitro part of this hobby really explode's. If you really want to quit, take the truck appart, clean it and put it away. I bet you that next year at this time(if not sooner) your back into r/c.

Can't quit that easy dude.

Buying new is always nice, but there is a certain level of satisfaction in creating something from scratch, watching it come together slowly to become a shiny, fast, and powerful R/C in the end. Unfortunately, the shiny part doesn't last so long...

I agree with Sneek; clean everything and put it away for a while. I'll bet that it'll just be a matter of time before you take it back out again because your situation will change. Once you get rid of it, you'll regret it IMO.

Parents took away internet? What... a shame? :D

Don't quit. Buy a new R/C, and start from scratch.

I think you should just give your rc stuff to me. :D
You mess it to much later on. Why not run the brushless revo since the nitro is down?

Took away the computer, but let you play videogames, bad thing. at least you can learn something with the computer and do homework.

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise
