Single Speed = 1 Idler
2 Speed Tranny= 2 Idlers


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

You eleminate one idler with the single speed with some other gears as well.

i'm sorry for wasting everyones time. i just found the g1 conversion instruction sheet and understand the diagram. i was going by memory, and not a very good one, earlier. thanks for your help, carl.

thanks. i know i ask a lot of questions, but this truck (g2r) is my first "custom" built rc. its taking forever to get all the parts. i am learning this brushless deal little by little, thanks to this forum and its regulars. thanks again. hope to have some new pics when i'm done with the truck so everyone here can see what they contributed to.
