When you program the end points. Pull the red jumper off hook batts up and wait for first beep. Then pull to foward and hold for beep and keep holding until final beep. You have it in forward only.

I need to get the savage x slipper my self. It don't seem to be holding very well on the small motor. I got a test drive in on mine so far. I need to do a little more to it though.

Peace!

I have got a few runs in on mine. The slipper is slipping so have to be easy on throttle. It seems pretty quick and even crawls pretty well. I am liking the auto shifting. I need to make a few adjustments to the shift points and it be ready for some action.

http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8

here are all of the instructions on how to program the controller for each configuration and how to reverse the motor if its spinning the wrong direction.

I think that being easy on the throttle may have been my problem...I am never easy on anything.
The y harness, and connecting the esc and the throttle servo to the receiver output to use the manual brakes worked nice.
someone posted a link to a site that makes a motor mount, and battery holders for the savage the other day. They have them listed as a complete kit, including esc, bl motor and all for one price. I think if you contacted them they would cell just the brackets. I will see if I can find that site, or the post, or the link.

I know which one you talking about. Here is a pic of mine. It handles nice. Need to get some battery straps and foam padding. I plan on going to a better motor mount and bigger motor to. Click image for larger version

nope. The card board is under esc for wires out of the drive shaft. It acts as some insultion to. The duct for the batteries it nice but it don't want to let go. I said I had some things to get straight on it. :D I really wanted to test it out and see. I have some other stuff coming for it. Hope to see it run 70 before it is all over.
