Updated shots of revo -
06.11.2006, 01:28 PM
Alot has happened ever since i got my new batteries and chassis. I also got a new motor. I have got a 1950 7T hi amp motor. Here are some shots of my battery trays. Not that monday they will go on the milling machine to look better and shave down a bit of weight. I also had a problem with the batteries shifiting up and down so i made the aluminum bracket as shown below in my pics. I also ripped a responce (FINALLY!). I got some maxx mulchers on pro-line dishes, just for some all around bashing. Any questions and comments are welcome!
The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Here is a pic of the bracket mounted, i just need to drill the holes on moday.
On A side not, the motor runs VERY well! It barely gets warm/bit over warm and also runs alot smoother! And before with my 10L i had overheating problems with the motor and esc, but the 1950 helped cool the esc down alot, too! No more fans for me!
Ill post pics of the truck with new tires/rims and new milled battery trays by middle next week, so be prepared to be dazzled!

Hows the 1950 7t? Didn't you have an XL before? How does it compare, what voltage do you run it on, runtimes etc etc. :027:

Squee, to make a long story short, bashers prefere higher center of gravity! The 1950 is awesome. I never had an xl, just a 10L. The motor is soo efficeient, that on startups there basicly is no stutter!

If you want the 2 emaxx top plates. (servo plate and back plate) I have a spare set. My Gorilla Chassis started on a emaxx and moved to a Revo. So I have the 2 top plates for the Emaxx just sitting. I have a second Gmaxx chassis that I bought on ebay for the emaxx now so I'm not using the original set I had. Anyway, If you want them let me know I sell em to you for a good price. They are just taking up space in a parts bin right now.
BTW. they are the aluminum ones, not CF.
PM me if your interested.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

The g2r is just sitting in my tool box. I might go back to it some day, not too keen on it though, the stockers are wicked.
