Racing Brushless Setup - 06.19.2006, 02:34 PM

I just finished my electric revo and the drive abiltiy of it is middle of the road. Here is my setup:

Feigo 9l
Warrior 9920 Brushless Car Controller
11.1 v

Top speed is insane and run time is great as well.

If I went a 10l or 12l would that make low speed driveabilty better and jump up to 14.5v to make up the differance in more turn motor.

It also seems to cog a little at low speeds.

Is there a better speed controler out there? Maybe a Quark 125b?

I think you might like an XL motor. It will proabably be a little smoother and give more runtime, ect. I think a 8XL on 4S lipo would be a killer setup. And yes, from what people say, the Quark is MUCH smoother.

I am just getting back on here and was wanting to know a race set up for my BL Revo. What pinion and spur you running? I also plan on using the Warrior9920 but with a 10XL if possible. I still don't know what lipos to run, period. I really have no idea when it comes to Lipos. I really need speed to keep up with these NMTs and Truggies but with at least 30 mins of runtime for mains.

Sorry for kinda hijacking your thread.
