I was wondering... I wanted to get a Quark monster pro125B and a Lehner(LMT) 1950 motor. I was told this set up in a g-maxx would do about 45 but the price is like 600 dollars. So then i went to novak i saw there 4.5 brushless for just under 300 and in the introduction is says i does between 40and 45mph in an emaxx, but on the Novak spec sheet is says it does between 32 and 38mph. does any body know the actual speed of the 4.5 Novak brushless motor with 2 3300 stick packs. Also is the Quark lehner combo way better than the novak or is it just barly better. Is it worth the $300 extra bucks.

With 14 cells and gearing that wouldn't cause back to back thermals, I would say you would be in the high 30's low 40's range.

If you do a fan mod like I have, you can keep it overgeared (which I am too) and probably consistently get speeds over 40. I have done this with a 6.5.

The Quark/Lehner setup will get you 45 without a single problem, and can probably push up to 60 if you increase cell count.

The Quark/Lehner is LIGHTYEARS ahead of the Novak. But...Get a Neu 1515 instead of the LMT. Its cheaper and better...
