I'd drop all the traxxas trash and get proper stuff, like ga bulk's.

But I highly doubt you could get everything:p

Yeah, traxxas stuff meant to be ok, but not the best.

I got a few things on my X-Mas list too.

UE Racer X Kit
UE Ti Centre Dogbones
UE Hardened Steel Pivot Balls
Lehner 1950/8
MGM 16024

Shorter more expensive list :005:

Here's my comments as well as pricing I found on the parts themselves:

Novak HV-Maxx 4.5 ($304.99) - Ok, but I like sensorless better...can be cheaper too
Traxxas Wheelie Bar ($17.59) - Wouldn't spend my money on it
Traxxas Red Wheels for Wheelie Bar ($18.39) - Wouldn't spend my money on it
Traxxas Aluminum Transmissionskid plate ($16.59) - FLM skid is cheaper
Traxxas Aluminum Lower Braces ($53.99) - FLM is cheaper
Traxxas Aluminum Battery Hold Downs ($29.99) - Wouldn't spend my money on it - I'd go with GMaxx straps instead...cheaper too
Traxxas Machined Motor Plate ($17.59) - Wouldn't spend my money on it
Traxxas Lightweight Input Shaft ($13.39) - Wouldn't spend my money on it
Traxxas Lightweight Idler Gear Shaft ($3.39) - Wouldn't spend my money on it
Traxxas Lightweight Output Gear Shaft ($10.99) - Wouldn't spend my money on it
Traxxas Suspention Pin Set Titanium ($21.49) - These are ok, but the stainless pins will work just fine for half the price
Traxxas Big Bore Shocks ($63.99) - These are ok, but I like threaded shocks myself
Traxxas Bulkheads F/R ($123.98) If you meant the aluminum ones. - Wouldn't buy these...would go FLM instead
Gorilla Maxx G3 Race Skids ($39.00) From Mike here at rc-monster - These are ok, but I like the FLM prices a bit better....not to mention better warranty
FLM Bulkhead Braces F/R ($18.00) From Mike also - These are ok
CVD Centers ($45.99) - These are ok
T-Bonz CV Drive Shaft Set ($60.00) From Mike also - Step up to MIP instead...much better investment
Hitec HSC-5955 Titanium Gear Servo ($114.99) - Good servo

FWIW, I'd stick to the parts you really need when you upgrade to brushless, rather than those wanted for the bling factor.

HEy Sneeck...why do you put people's lists down for...to him that might be all he can afford or it could be his dream vehicle...you never know.....not everyone can afford UE all the time.....it took me several years to get my Ue stuff together and get my truck built....even though it was a little here & a little there.....

don't get me wrong, UE is the top notch, but some have their own ideas
so you shouldn't knock it that hard! Soft suggestions would be more in order IMO!

Yeah dude! Trust me, that doesn't make a new poster feel very welcome. Mine would be ideally the mamba max system for my revo, but that will more than likely be too expensive, so I will probably go for the 4.5 motor (already have the 6.5 system), a wheelie bar to fit my e-revo, or a set of gp4300 batteries. Maybe a set of g2r shocks, gotta see how I the stockers work out for me first.

btw-i'd be willing to sell my hv system to make the mamba price more within reach!

No worries! Just thought it was a tad harsh. I don't care for traxxas parts all that much either, and I agree with sneeck to dump some of the stuff. I know no hard feelings are ever implied, heck, i can get very testy a lot! mwe-trust me, you are welcome here! It's a lot different here that Traxxas forums, and soon, you'll hardly be over there! Trust me!

and another lol. Okay, I don't have a problem with this place, if I did I wouldn't have dedided to hang around. I do like the traxxas bulkheads, I just think they look great.

They are not the strongest, but they are strong, and I (have heard) that they are light. But, I wouldn't necessarily consider traxxas the best place to go for upgrades either, except maybe for stuff like the big bore shocks. I personally like stock traxxas parts, never had any big problems with any stock parts except the front bulk on my e, and that was just because I had a tendency to take stuff on at 30+mph.

I once took on a concrete tunnel at or near 40, the impact was so great, it shifted the heatsink on my hv motor all the way toward the front of my truck (and that heatsink doesn't slide easily) against the wires on the motor, and disconnected ALL of my powerpoles. I had an acncm front bulk set on it then, and the left side of it took the full force of the impact, and, other than having a little gouge cut into it, there were no problems.

edit-and, I gotta get my 2500 posts first lol. haven't been on there for three years to quit before I get MY avatar! I spent a loooong time on there doing nothing but learning and not posting, so I have a way to go.I can finally give opinions and help others out too, so my post count has finally grown to what I consider a respectable number.

I think Traxxas hopups for the Revo are some of the best...
