...The space at left front is where the Mamba Max ESC sits in all its glory...

Hey, very nice conversion!

Checkout speedtech for hopups that fit your HellFire.

I hope I can have enough money to convert a Mugen MBX-5T.

The name is Alawi. You can call me Al.
Nice to meet you!

...thanks for the interest fellas...

...Coolhand is ANY project ever REALLY finished? lol...Video when i can but only if my very pregnant wife lets me out of the house...I would like to get video done at the dirt track, which is reasonably local, that did the first real printed-media review of the HF here in Japan...They are an ALL GP track so i will have to go and grease some palms and shake some hands :D

...Motor NOW is the Feigao 9L but will be up-sizing to a 7XL or something similar in the new year...ESC is Mamba Max and ubec'ed...Batteries now are 12 nimh but would like to swtch to lipo when i can...probably some 6000 or 8000 packs depending on the weights...

...Diff is stock HF but the spur is a 32p 66t from the E-Savage...I have a 36t Kyosho for when i get a motor with a 5mm shaft that takes mod 1 pinions...The shop here wanted about 20 bucks to ship pinons too so that was no good...

...Captain, Speedtech does have some nice stuff but unfortunately they wanted 25 USD to ship me their 15 buck carbon steering unit...Fortunately RCBoys has some of their stuff and they have said they will give me 7 buck shipping ;) Hopefuly fit the Lunsford buckle set too if i can...

..Right now it is 4.2 kg RTR but i would like to get it under 4kg...Sorry...unsure of that in pounds and ounces...Hopefully i will achieve that with lipo if that ever gets done...Other than that the truck is pretty stock...Diffs are mugen oil; 5, 5, 2...

Hi Bithed,

Very nice ! Slap some lipos in there & you'll be under 4kg (or 8.8lb).

Regards,
Joe Linf

Hi Bithed,

Yes, I'm the one. I'm doing just fine. Starting to pick up on the car stuff after being distracted for a few months by plane & heli stuff.

Hope to see more updates from you on the Hellfire soon !

Regards,
Joe Ling
