LiPo or NiMh?
Feigao 8XL (C version or Wanderer) $90
Mamba Max $140 or Warrior 9920 $150
That leaves about $265 for batteries (and a charger?)
If you want Lipo and need a charger, the Super Brain 989 is $140
Which leaves $125 for the batteries, and that isn't enough for a proper LiPo setup

Yeah, if you don't need a charger it's a different bag.

triton 2 works with lipo. If you can get it for an upgrade deal it should be fine.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Also, if you're going Lipo, you will need a balancer and possibly a lvc

WEll if you don't have to get a charger. You have enough for the lipo.
Peace!

you could also try those a123 cells. its 200 bucks for a charger and 2 batts... im not sure how these would work but it charges them in 15 min and they have like a 7-10 min runtime. pretty cool to me.
