hv maxx 4.5 and 18.5v lipos ? - 01.01.2007, 12:19 PM

What do you think of putting this many volts into the hv.Do you think it would hold up? Im curious to see the power difference.Could I hook it up and just watch the temps or is it more complicated than that.I have 4s2p lipos in it now and it runs pretty cool 90 esc 105 motor batts are cool too.

It's the motor i am worried about. One side of input of the batteries is used for the BEC, so that one should get the 2S, while the other would work on 3S.

I know Artur (griffinru) can give you more details on this.

But the KV of the motor is too high

Why do you want to try more voltage on it?
I tried some higher voltage on the older system.
It had a hard time on start up.
If you want more speed. It sounds like you could go up on gearing a little.
