Yeah.! that's a mount for sure..! How do you like your setup?

You can also post the entire story here, just click edit and copy paste from the traxxas forum.

That camera IS a bargain if you ask me.

Is that the 9L? Are you running it on 12 cells? As you have stock chassis and straps, how does it run on 12 cells? Thats if it is the 9L. :)

that is indeed a 9L. I'm running it on 14 cells. the chassis was originally designed to hold 12, but if you have the 7th cell of the battery pack sticking off the side of the battery pack at like a 45 degree angle, the extra cell can sit between the chassis and the battery hold down.

Runs great, thanks for asking! On 14 cells, that is.

Wow, are those stock sliders (CVDs)? Is all your differentials stock? Thats mad. Wonder if stock can hold a 10L, can save me some money then.

LOL, you wont believe this, but the my tranny is 4 years old. the idlers where worn down to almost nothing from all the use over the years. And then i go brushless. YOu know what the first hting that breaks in the tranny? The pin of the second speed gear on the input shaft (with the heavy metal gears). LOL. chewed up the second speed plastic gear. so i just replaced all those gears, and idlers. I thought it was funny that the metal part of the tranny busted before the worn out plastic parts! LOL!
ANyways, the drivetrain is holding up surprisly well. When i was having some problems with the the trannyt, causing the emaxx to jerk alot at WOT, it destroyed myt front diff a couple tmes. BUt now that i have all those minor "glitches" fixed, everything seems fine... But i also dont beat the crap out of it, either. I have the slipper tightened all the way down, but have only really done speed runs.

I plan on upgrading to CVDs once i decide whether i want to go with UE or MIP. ANyone make a suggestion?

I would suggest just getting MIP rather than UE, if stock sliders can handle it so far, it really isn't worth spending more for UE! :D

check out these 2 reviews of the RDlogics cvd's and the MIP cvd's

There's really no need for the ue ones, unless your running a very powerful system or if your a serious racer.

Well I have to agree, seen sliders in actuall knots from brushless power. Wish I can remember where I saw it. :)

I suppose alot of people still do the "fix when it breaks" rule.

I'm running stock sliders on a lehner brushless set-up. They seem to be holding up fine at the moment. I am going to araldite some 3mm steel rod inside the slider, to give it them a bit more strength - and hopefully they'll hold up for a little bit longer. When they do go RDLogics will be the solution for me ;)
