HB lightning pro stadium - 02.01.2005, 12:20 PM

Hello guys,

I am going to order a HB stadium pro truggy from Mike when he has one and I am going to order the lehner XL3100 with the warrior 9918.

I will be running it on 12 cells and I think it should be fast because it's very light. I studied the exploded views and other things of the truck and saw a good way to make room for the battery packs. (probably same way as Mike is going to do it). It's a way where you have real much room (for like 16 cells I think).

My question was, who has a HB stadium pro and maybe somebody already had a brushless one, do you have pics or send you "goods" and "bads" about this truck as stock and what kind of hopups should you get or does it don't need any hopup?

I have one of these truggies - it is in my signature pic - are you planning on racing or bashing - ? do you really beat on your trucks? - RC-monster Mike and I are working on a truggy conversion as we speak...

I hope to have the Lightning later this week. The controllers I hope to have as well, but I am at the mercy of BK on these. In my conversion, I plan to use a micro 12018 controller. I havenb't decided which motor yet, but it will be a lehner xl or Feigao "L", depending on how these fit when my mods are done. For 12 cell operation, the xl 3600 or 3100 will be very good for pavement running, while the xl2800 or xl3100 will more suitable for the track. Gears is another stumbling block (mod1 pitch gears are hard to come by). For this reason, I may run the Feigao motor with a 5mm shaft and mod a gear myself to work with it. I will get the details posted here when these decisions are made (and put into action!).

I will take a feigao 7xl with 5mm shaft because I have alot of gears with this size.

I will be running it on 16 cells!

Please mail me Mike when you have all this:

HB stadium pro truck
warrior 9918 controller
2 feigao 7xl motors

I will run the feigao 7xl on 16 cells but is the warrior 9918 good enough to handle the 16 cells?

A member on this board runs his emaxx with the 9918 warrior and 7xl on 18 cells! Just start conservative with the gearing. I am planning on running the 18120 micro controller in our conversion, which should handle anything I throw at it!
