Well here's my first shot at it. Running a 18.97 with a 9XL. 36t spur with 15t pinion. I'm gonna order up a 24t for when I want some speed running. Anyone run that low gearing yet? Using Maxamps lipos 18.5 volts.
Comments and tips would be great.

So far I love it. Just have to weigh it and see where she's at.

I really hope you align the spur/pinion better than what it shows in the second pic. It looks like only half of each gear is against the other. If it's really mounted that way you're probably going to be eating spurs quite often.

Looks good!

From what I can tell, you're not using the disc brake? If not, you can remove all that stuff and save weight. Plus, it looks cleaner.

Have you run it yet? Because if you're using the stock tranny with no mods, and no mechanical brake, you won't be able to stop or go in reverse. There is a one-way-bearing in there...

The mesh is good now. I had to change it a little. I ended up making another piece to support the rear of the motor and get the mesh right.
The tranny has been modded and the reverse is mostly gone. Totally gone inside the tranny.
I haven't run it yet as we got about 3' of snow in about in a week. Gotta let a little melt away.
