Feigao 540C question....

Feigao 540C question.... - 03.11.2007, 01:25 AM

I have a Feigao 380C 6L and 6T. The mounting screw holes are very shallow on the 380C's. Are the 540C mounting holes any better? And can I get a 540C 10XL? If not how about a regular 540 10XL?

the holes on the motors are about 2-3mm deep. they simple don't need more.

In what vehicle are you planning on using the 10XL?

I'm going to use this in a converted Tower Terror 4wd with 6s A123. With that Kv (10XL-1668), 14t pinion and stock tires it should reach my goal of ~40mph.

I plan on using a 540c but havnt used one set so I cant answer your questions, sorry. But what size is the Tower terror? Did you drive it as nitro? how was it? thanx. Oh yeah If u get your motor first tell me how u like it? ; )

I think the loaded KV on the 540C 10XL is 1502 if I'm not mistaken.

I converted the TT MT and ended up using a 12xl and a 16t pinion. To save me some typing you can read my post here:

I did not run it as a nitro and plan on selling the motor and radio as new in the near future. Here is a link to the truck I converted:
