upgrade parts for CRT? - 03.15.2007, 12:16 AM

Mike should be done with my motor mount this week and then I'll be ready to put it together when it arrives. I can't find much information as for recommended upgrades for brushless or in general for the vehicle?

I have all the electronics worked out and a kyosho spur gear on order. This will be my first kit to build so any tips will be helpful.

thanks

Good truggies like the CRT don't need 'upgrades"... that's only for wimpy Traxxas stuff. :D

Really... the plastic spur is all you need, and that is technically a 'downgrade' LOL

Oh.. maybe we could call badlands tires an upgrade..... ;)

Uh...anywho, there are a few things I would get. There is an aluminum suspension setup for it. Amainhobbies has it. I think its called the Tomahawk or something like that. Also, Kingheadz and Dace make some upgrades, as well as KMW.

I like the idea of not having to upgrade...I've only dealt with traxxas r/c's and a miniquakes so you can see where I'm always upgrading something!

thanks gd

You can always find aftermarker parts if you want to spend money or bling it out, but nothing NEEDS to be changed out.

If you ever do... the King Headz stuff is pimp... but I don't have a single aftermarket piece on any of my 1/8 cars/trucks.
