I just bought the viscous diff conversion for the mini-lst and when I turn the outdrives there seems to be a lot of binding and it makes a lot of noise. Is there a way to adjust the internals of it?

I'm tempted to ship my diffs to you for assembly Mr. Diff! :027:

BTW,

If you did 1:1 scale you'd be known as a rear end specialist..........

Then again that may still be true:005:

You would need to see what's happening on the inside. There shuold be no noise at all. Did they come this way?

In this day and age the art of the "gengle euphanism" has all but been lost.

But I'll try next time! :027:

With all the "love" Rene puts into diffs the joke was sitting there on a silver platter...know what I mean? :005:

Sad but true.

I guess that doesn't mean we have to give into the extremism though does it?

I am pretty sure i can get your 1:1 diff perfect as well. (with the right tools ofcourse)

Here is something i've been thinking about for a longer time..;

Some day i will build my own truck, wild plans, but i hope it will happen some day.. my plan is to use adjustable cups that hold the bearings (with a setscrew to tighten them) that way you don't need shimms and the diff can be shimmed without taking it apart.
