Novak HV Maxx or Neo sphere

I have know nothing about brushless, and i never even thought about it till yestorday, so i have alot of questions. I have a rustler, but its all disasambled, and misssing parts, so i was going to pick one up cheap on ebay. I want to run it in the sand, but want it to have good torque, and speed. I eaither wan toget the Novak HV Maxx, or a LRP sphere neo stage 2. They are both around the same price to. The only reasion i would get the HV maxx is so i could run 14 cells. I also have a Tamiya horet, but i think a brushless motor would ruin all the gears. Will the Sphere neo have close to the proformanace as the HV Maxx? What speeds could expect from both? Which would have best torque? I just want a simple system, thats not to expencive, and goes fast.
