Upgrading Revo to Brushless - Newb help - 12.09.2006, 10:53 AM

I have a Rolling Revo chassis with upgraded parts, CVDs, 3.3 Diffs, Alum Axle carries, Upgraded Shocks, 17mm Hub adapters etc...
I want to convert it to the Aluminum G2R chassis. Being new to brushless of this size - I am not sure what I would need to run it.

Goal for the project - ability to throw it on the track and compete (just club style racing) and run it around on the street or just a little bashing

I would like the complete brushless setup with batts.

Is the G2R still considered 1/10 Scale? If so thoughts on the Novak HV Maxx or the Mamba Max 7700?

I am not familiar with all the other brands of motors and esc out there so any recommendations for setups would be nice. I noticed the great X-mas specials on the 2 escs but again no familiar with them so would not know which would work for my application.

I currently have 2 Apogee 3800 lipos. Would these work or should I get 2 of the Max Amps 8000 batts?

Thank you in advance!
