I have NOT found this to be the case. With FLM bulks, HB diffs and UE cvds, the pillow balls can be adjusted on the flextek suspension to work without the UE drive cups. Infact, the UE drive cups don't fit the HB diff cups, so I wouldn't bother in this case(shaft is too short and won't allow the inner pin to push through inside the cup without severe binding - I actually have a UE drive cup STUCK inside a HB diff cup from trying it). :)
