A good analogy for anyone into 1:1 cars.....

The 7700 is like a Turbocharged 1.8 TOYota motor. in a small lightweight car appropriately set up its really fast, but put it into a heavy chassis or gear it improperly, etc. and it sucks big time.

That's why the guys who are most successful with their brushless MT's are using 1500 - 2200 Kv motors and higher voltage/cell counts to provide superior power, lower temps, and greater reliability. Much like a well built torquey V8.

Matching the Kv to your chassis and batter packs is VERY important. The 7700's are best suited to 4 & 5 cell touring cars. IMO.
