Not necessarily. As for buggy over truggy in terms of performance, I heard many reports of racers who got the same (and sometimes faster) lap-times with their truggies as with their buggies.
And as for buggy over truggy in terms of jumping and fun, I have to say buggies are nice too. Most of them are very very tough, hard to kill, and fly nice and clean. Same goes for the truggies, of course, I just wanted to say that the buggies are good too.
