7s2p pack on E-Revo??

I got my Revo 3.3 roller chassis in today. I am looking at it here, and am thinking about running single higher power servo to make room for the battery on the one side? Then cut out the servo mount to allow the room for the battery to stretch it's legs up there.

And if I use a single servo, what servo is the best servo Mike sells for the money? And if I do that, should I get the heavier servo saver spring from Traxxas?
