Hey Cadima, what's up?
You are right, the XRays by nature have a more rear biased weight distribution than most other truggies (and buggies too). On the truggy it's really apparent, the front being stretched like that. Just look at that link on the steering servo.
When Mike and me were working on that truck, we kept wondering how it would handle.
Because I studied some nitro XRays I wanted to keep the battery that much to the rear. Similar to the nitro engine and tank. Mike told me to move it forward, I said I could still move it later on, basically trial and error. But when it was finished we were both amazed, first try definitely felt like a hit. It has very good on-power steering, and the off-power is just unreal. At first we tested it on the lawn, Mikes' frontyard, steering was real good. And on the track it's the same, turns perfect.
Somehow the trucks geometry works very well with the weight biased like that, on the track and in the air too.
