emaxx regrets????

i'm just tossing the idea around and wanted some experienced feedback on my idea. this is for those who have built a really nice emaxx and sold it down the road. i'm talking about putting a nice little investment into them making it basically bullet proof. do you guys that have and later sold them regret getting rid of it later down the road? i know there will be a loss, so i'm pretty sure if i do sell the chances of me building another are pretty slim. otoh, its a dated design, and so many other vehicals (especially with nitro conversions), that building something better and faster is not far fetched.
