ok so getting a losi 8, mm on 4s-5s?

still deciding on what to do about a motor and battery, waiting on lincpimp to let me know what he has, what does it take to run the old mm on 5s, still need an external ubec? any specific settings? what do you guys think 4s-8xl or 5s-9xl? really need some input, thinking about some zippy cells for now
