CRT.5 with Sidewinder -

I am looking at getting a CRT.5 with Sidewinder 5700 setup. It says you can only run a 2s but I was thinking I would want 3s. Has anyone used this setup on 3s? Is it worth the extra 50 bucks for mamba 5700? Or the sidewinder 4600 can run 3s... bahh to many options. what doe you guys recommend?
