The guys at tekno... think the 50mm motor will do ok in a 1/8. But I'm going to do a 60mm if I try one. I can't see how an "S" size motor can do as good a job as an "L" can, esp when we had to run "XL" size with the chinese brands.

But they (tekno) are running the 50mm. If the car is light and made for the track (30-35mph) maybe it's ok.

True (the Rustler is starting to get "fat", even with all the RPM parts on it). Just trying to give an idea of the load the motor can take though; more or less for those thinking about trying it in a 1/10 vehicle.
