On 5s if you are looking for nitro comparable power I would say drop it down to a 1512/3D (1700kv) motor. It will give you more runtime and cooler temps thatn the 1512/2.5D on 5s. Still coparable power to the fastest nitro and a bit more so no worries there.

Another thing... If you are going to jump to 5s you can go with a smaller pack than the 5000mah 5s packs. They start to get a bit bulky in a buggy. A 5s 4000mah pack has the same amount of energy in it as the 4s 5000 pack you were going to get. and for a racing setup the lighter weight battery will help the handling a bit. I run 5s and the 1512/3D in my race buggy and love it BTW. Any enerland based 5s 4350 pack is perfect IMO and will easilly let you run a 15 minute main. I can just squeeze 20 minutes out of a 5s 4350 pack, but in a long main like that I go with the 5000 just to be sure and sacrafice having to carry the extra weight.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...
